You might have expected to find some software to download here. Sorry to disappoint you but George and I thought it would be better to point you to his web page for the latest released KwinTV sources. Be aware, however, that you can get the latest development version(s) of KWinTV out of CVS (see below).

Especially KWinTV for KDE3 -- and of course the brand-new KWinTV re-write -- is only available in CVS at the moment! Please check our CVS Info Page for more details.

The reason for this is consistency. When you download KwinTV from the maintainer's web page you're guaranteed to get the latest version currently available...

So please click here to go to the directory that has the latest released version(s) and patches. The latest version that has been officially released is KWinTV 0.8.11 which was designed for KDE2. If you want to run KWinTV on KDE3 you currently have no choice but to get it out of CVS and compile it yourself. The alternative for you is to try the alpha release of the KWinTV re-write.

The rewritten version of KWinTV is now available as "Alpha 1". You can get it out of CVS or as a package (source code only) from George's server.
