Music is something which is always present with you. The blowing of the wind is a type of music, the singing of the birds is music, the way you type on the keyboard is a sort of music, in fact, and each and every movement can be associated with music. Perhaps this is why human beings have always been attracted to it; always have to listen to it.
In the earlier days, music was listened through the gramophone. The youngsters of today would find it quite irritating to listen to the gramophone because it does not have either the speed or the clarity of the music players seen today. But back then when it was invented, the invention was celebrated. Only the very rich could afford to have it.
After the gramophone came in the audio cassettes where you can insert it into the player and listen. This too had defects of its own. A cassette which is left in a damp place could turn to a useless piece of tangled films within a few days. Also, the players were quite unstable too. It used to need plenty of power and electricity to run it.
And then came in the CD players. These were a phenomenon at the time of invention. Everybody was running to grab the CD players. The CDs were materials which would never be incapacitated by the weather, a refreshing change after looking after and taking care of the cassettes. Everything was recorded into the CDs and made to last forever.
The latest invention is perhaps the iPod. This is, at the present, the ultimate music player. You could store and play thousands of music and songs and the device has a reasonable time in which it can hold on to the charge and keep playing. You would have to wait for some time to grab the next invention in the filed of music.
