The beauty of Netflix

Does anybody vaguely remember the days of having to drive to the video store, go down several ailes in search of the perfect movie, stand in line and then drive all the way back home in order to enjoy the selected movie? Well those days have been gone for quite some time thanks to all the shows offered by cable, computer viewing through sites such as Hulu and of course Netflix. Like the invention of post-it notes it’s simple and hundreds of people are probably kicking themselves wondering why the idea never hit them sooner. The beauty and success of netflix is two-fold.

Convenience: inventions that make life easier are bound to be a success. Netflix makes life easier by giving people what they want in an ultra convenient manor for a reasonable price.  Customers can select enough movies to be sent to them for an entire year all from the comfort of their own home. Everything is done online without forms or stamps and these movies if sent off in a timely manor are delivered just like clock work. It’s like receiving a gift every two days. Now the people at Netflix have even out done themselves in allowing customers to download movies directly into their homes through specific devices with no waiting. All of this for less than the amount two people would spend on going to the movies.

Customer Service: The message is constantly being sent that the customer is important at Netflix and that they are always looking for ways to make the service better and please clients. This is a very good thing. Good service is often hard to find, so when it shows up, people take notice. A company that does what they pledge to do and then makes up for it when things don’t go as expected is one that will be around for a long time.
